I’m sure a lot of you can relate, I’ve had acne since I was a kid and up until now, I still have to deal with it. And to be honest, I think adult acne is something that is harder to heal and to take care of. Which is why I always watch what I use on my face. I don’t usually change my skin care routine since my skin is really sensitive to some products. I’ve tried a sample of Murad a few years back from Sephora, and I really loved it. However, I didn’t have the courage to try the full size product. Murad Canada was kind enough to send some products for me to try. I think it’s a sign to change my skincare routine a little bit. Since my usual cleanser doesn’t seem to work on me anymore.
After trying these products for a few days, it quickly became part of my routine. So now, it’s my current go-to skincare essentials. I love how the products are numbered 1: Cleanse 2: Treat 3: Hydrate. So you know which one to use first.
Daily Cleansing Foam – I was amazed the first time I tried this product. It claimed that it evens oily and dry zones. And you won’t believe that it actually does. It mattifies my skin in a way that it’s not drying, I’m really impressed. With those previous cleansers I’ve used, I usually have to use makeup remover before the cleanser, just to make sure that my face is completely clean. But for this cleanser, it removes dirt and makeup without having to use makeup remover. Who wouldn’t love that?
Oil Control Mattifier with SPF 15 – Where can you find an oil control with an SPF. Often times products with SPF are usually oily. The higher the SPF is, the oilier your skin gets. This is a godsend product for oily skin people like me. Since my skin tends to be super oily, usually at the end of the day, my makeup has slid off my face. Though, I have to warn you, this product has a thick consistency, which makes it hard to put on all over your face. Which is why I use it on top of my moisturizer and it definitely helps my makeup to stay throughout the day. I wouldn’t recommend it for people with dry skin, though, since it will make your skin even more dry.
Rapid Collagen Infusion for Lips – Now that the temperature is dropping, my lips are becoming more cracked and really dry. Especially when I use lipstick. It definitely is not a good sight. It claims to instantly smooth and soften the lips and the entire lip area. And it also claims to give a your lips a fuller and plumper look. So I was really excited to try this, and hoping in the back of my mind that it actually works. Having said that, after trying it for the first time, I actually saw the difference in appearance. Although it didn’t measure up to its claims of a fuller and plumper look, it sure made my lips smoother and softer. But you can feel a tingling effect after you put it on. So if you’re someone who can’t stand any tingling effect, I advise you to stay away from this product.
Eye Lift Firming Treatment – Now that finals are coming up, it means it’s time for sleepless nights. I don’t really have visible wrinkles underneath my eyes. But I sure do have crazy puffy eyebags. I can’t really say if it works to lessen the appearance of wrinkles, but I can definitely say it helps for tired and puffy bags. You’ll see a difference on the first try, you’ll feel your bags tightening, and you can see that your undereye is more hydrated and soft. It comes with cloth pads to put on top of the product underneath your eyes. I have to warn you though, it also has a slight tingling effect when using this product.
